Other Recognition
Qualifications and courses offered by the University can lead to Professional Recognition by various bodies as set out below. These currently include The ABE, APM, BCS, IET, ISEB, IMA. There's a full list available at the University's website - those shown below relate to courses presented by the Faculty of Mathematics and Computing.
Association of Building Engineers
The Open University's Project Management course (M865 Project Management) can contribute towards the Association of Building Engineers education criteria and can count towards an individual's academic progression towards Corporate Membership.

Association of Project Managers
Our Project Management course (M865) has been accredited by the APM. The M865 course certificate may be used in an application for membership, as evidence that the candidate process the forty key competences and skills that the APM term as the 'Body of Knowledge'.

Information Systems Examination Board (ISEB) Recognition
The ISEB awards a number of qualifications for professionals in the information systems industry. The course M865 Project Management has been accredited as providing equivalent training and written examination to that required for the ISEB Certificate in Project Management. Holders of the M865 course certificate are only required to sit and pass an ISEB oral examination in order to gain this qualification.
